Strawberry Freezer cookies

taylormaysimmons

These cookies were extremely tough, at first the dough was easy and so were cutting out the strawberries. But as soon as we got to stacking the cut outs it was hard. The cut outs would not stick so we put them in the freezer and that helped a bit, but it still just wasn't working. Then when we were covering them with the soft dough, I could feel the strawberries coming apart. When we were cutting them to bake, we found out too late that they were way to frozen and some came apart and a few ended up looking decent.

Cookies in the oven, as you can see some are a bit wonky.

This is our first photo, and we put one cookie on a napkin and used lots of strawberry themed decor.

Conclusion

Overall, these cookies tasted great, and some turned out really pretty, like the ones in the photo. However, some did not turn out pretty and I think next time we would spend more time making sure they were perfectly binded.
