Strawberry Macarons

Our macarons ended up a lot better than we expected. The feet of some of them were a little deflated but they still tasted and looked very good. We did a strawberry cookie and had both a vanilla and chocolate filling because we couldn't decide on the flavoring, so we did both. Something that went wrong is after we piped out the cookies, we were letting them sit while we cleaned up a bit, we realized that we forgot to add the cream of tartar, and we were worried they would turn out bad because it was too late to add it.

Conclusion

Overall, I think our macarons ended up looking really good and for our first time ever making them we only made few mistakes. I wish we would have made our filling a bit thinner though because when squishing two cookies together the filling was a little too thick which cracked some of our cookies but over it turned out great.
